Darkness filled the halls of the Crescent Moon Pack. It wasn’t just shadows—it was something alive, spreading, heavy, and cold.
Lila stood tall in the center of it all.
Her arms were crossed, her eyes sharp and hard. Her face showed no kindness. Power swirled around her like a storm. In front of her, the old sorcerer shook with fear, his hands trembling.
“You’re going to give me more power,” Lila said calmly, but her voice was cold. “Right now.”
The sorcerer shook his head. “I can’t. You’ve already taken too much. If you take more, the darkness will take over you. You’ll lose who you are,” he warned.
“I don’t care,” she said, stepping closer. “Give it to me,” she pushed.
“No,” he said firmly. “I won’t be part of this. I won’t help you destroy yourself.”
Her eyes narrowed. The air around her grew heavier. Shadows rose from the floor, swirling around her like snakes.
