Chapter 50. I Was Not Hurt!

She entered the hall, and just like the last time, she had to sit facing the three men as she took her call. The only difference was that this time, she was not shy. 

She took a seat opposite them and held the gaze of the man who stared most intimidatingly at her the last time. She picked up the phone. 

“My goodness, why are you unreachable nowadays?” Her father’s voice boomed over the phone. “Are they trying to keep you away from me?”

Racheal said nothing. What did he think this was, what was he expecting? He sold her off and even agreed to the conditions. 

“Have they been telling you I called?” He asked
