Chapter 94. Racheal's Team

“Wait.” Steffan said, and got out of the car. 

He waved Isaac away to open Racheal’s door himself. He held out his hand, and she placed hers in his.

“Thank you.” She said, wincing a little as she stepped out of car. 

He had pulled a little too strongly on her right arm, where she had been cut.

“What is it?” Steffan asked, pulling her close. She avoided looking at his face.

“Let’s just get done with this.” She replied.

He was about to hold her hand as he usually did, but stopped halfway, remembering that hand was scarred. He frowned, and placed his hand on her waist.

“Let’s go.” He led her into the building amidst a few flashes from cameras. 

It felt like her first press conference all over. 

The difference now was the location. The hall was better designed and furnished.
