Book 2: Chapter 2

Odette’s POV

I groan softly, forcing my eyes open. Thank the moon goddess I am not in the hospital, I would have had nausea from the smell of the hospital but this doesn’t mean I know where I am.

I slowly pull my body to a sitting position, the frown on my face deepening.

Suddenly, the door opens up and he saunters in… my gaze remains on him for a moment before I avert my gaze, I shouldn’t be staring at a stranger the way I am looking at him. Believe me, it’s not his face that made me look, it’s the fact that he walked into the room with a dog… a fucking dog, my wolf is allergic to dogs.

“Excuse me” I can no longer take it, “I don’t know who you are but I am actually allergic to dogs” I tell him.

“Oh shoot!!” He comes to a halt, “the first time coming across a white wolf who is allergic to dogs”

“What?”

How did he know I am a wolf? Unless he is one on his own but I cannot feel anything from him which makes everything more weird.
