Odette’s POV

A week later

I am seated in the room in the pack house, Zach has gone for a meeting with a few of the pack members. Apparently they are a few wolf hunters that have been invading the pack and luckily a few of them have been caught.

Last week, we were able to secure the deal, the money was given to Zach and now we are waiting for the feedback from the investors. Dad and mum left a few days after then and we talk every day, mum is fine and I know for a fact that she will live. She is a strong woman, she didn’t crumble the first time and she won’t crumble now.

The pack house is beautiful but everyone seems to walk on eggshells with me and Zach. For the past week we have spent here, I have seen how ruthless Zach is. His word is his law and I see how swiftly he gets things done. I can’t help but be proud of him the most, I always knew he was going to be a force to be reckoned with.
