Nicholas’s POV

Pressing my back against the chair, I massage the space between my brows as a little groan escapes my lips. This is when the door opens and my assistant saunters into the office with some documents in hand.

“Boss” he bows gently and place the documents on the table before me, “Since the press conference organized by Avanti a few hours ago, our stocks have been plummeting despite the success recorded from the fashion week”

“Hmmm, I see” I don’t bother to react to it because I already knew it was going to happen after everything.

I also woke up this morning to the news about Michelle and I know who the person that did that was. I know Michelle is suspicious of me but she is right in all ramifications to be suspicious of me.

“And about the company that published the article, Avanti has already sued them for defamation”

“How fast” I mutter under my breath, “that’s good then, add another lawsuit to that. They dared to publish rubb
