Book 1: Chapter 79

Enzo’s POV

I am seated on the kitchen counter watching my wife as she makes breakfast. Michelle insisted on making breakfast and I allowed her too. Now I am having a cup of coffee while watching her make breakfast for the both of us. I can’t even take my eyes off of her for reasons best known to me.

Looking at how happy she looks while swinging her waist from side to side listening to some music, I make up my mind that I must protect this woman at all cost, no matter what happens.

My attention is drawn to the phone on the table when it starts to blink and when I see the caller ID, I immediately pick it up and press it against my ear.

“Hello”

“Sir” Mr. Hernandez’s voice filters into my ear.

“Tell me, why have you called?”

“I have sent the copy of the approved divorce papers to your email sir and I called to let you know”

“Very well then, thank you”

I end the call and place the phone back on the table as my attention returns
