I and Orion sat at dining table, nursing a cup of coffee while we sorted through some company documents.
Sarah had taken Liam to a doctor's appointment, leaving just us four.
Upstairs, I could hear Lily's excited chatter and Athena's softer responses as they worked in the nursery, arranging the last of the baby items we'd been accumulating.
"You're smiling again," Orion said without looking up from his papers.
"Am I?"
"You've been doing that a lot lately." He glanced up, grinning. "The dopey, love-sick smile. It's disgusting."
