Chapter 435. Strange Sounds

He was still thinking when he heard some sounds. Someone had just opened the door and stepped in. He moved closer to the wall and leaned his back against it. He held his breath for a moment as he tried to listen to the sounds from the living room. From the soft footsteps, he could hear, he knew more than one person had gotten in. He was also sure they were walking so gently not to make any sound. Quickly, he stepped back into the Evelyn’s and tried to close the door as quietly as he could.
