Chapter 57. A Tough Day

Amy finally worked in Jewelry Palace, and at first Samuel helped her to settle there. After a week, he let the former chairman to mentor her. After a month, Amy could work alone without the former chairman to supervise her. They appointed the temporary CEO as her vice CEO. 

All was well until when Amy was about to go home. A courier gave her a small, thick brown envelope. Since it was addressed to her personally, Amy opened it right away. She thought it might be from her alma mater or someone who knew about her new workplace. 

But then, they hadn’t announced about her new position as the CEO. So, who sent it? Curiosity won, and she opened the envelope. Then she gasped when seeing what was inside. It was some pictures of Samuel and Cecilia in a hotel room. 

Amy was too shocked and put the pictures on the table, then she immediately tidied them all and inserted them back into the envelope. She put the envelope into her handbag and went home. She said nothing
