Chapter 31. Cuddling Ari

Christian stood in front of the window, staring out and watching the rain pour, his mind was occupied, thinking about Clarisse and worrying if she was okay till he decided to go and check up on her. He strode out of his room in a black pant and grey hoodie cardigan and a flip-flop.

He stood outside her room contemplating whether to go in or not, or knock before going in. He placed his ear close to the door to see if there was going to be any movement but there was none so he proceeded to go in, opening the door quietly but on getting inside, he saw her quivering vigorously, muttering some words in her sleep and crying.

He rushed to her side and had a better vision of her, she was sweating, crying, and shaking forcefully, she seemed to be having a nightmare.

He held her palm calling her name softly but it wasn’t working and he got confused, she was still shaking so much that he was forced to jump into the bed and pull her closer to his chest, hugging her in her slee
