She got interrupted by the ringing tone of Christian’s phone that rang just as she was about to say it. He reached out for his phone and looked at the screen to see the caller, Ryan, his best friend.

“Leave”, he said to her,

“Sir? I can wait”, she said not believing she was about to lose her lifelong opportunity but Christian looked at her with disdain written all over his face.

Seeing the scorn look she knew she had to leave immediately and quickly bowed before rushing out of the room.

She punched the air and screamed inaudibly as soon she closed the door behind her.

“What in the name of garbage has to call at that crucial time!!”, she shouted inaudibly heading down the stairs. Words couldn’t express how angry and frustrated she was even when she tried to calm herself that she still had a chance.
