Chapter 66. The Shameless Christian

Christian sat in the dining room watching the maids place the meal on the table.

“Have you called Ari?”, he asked turning to the chief maid,

“No, My Lord, I don’t think ma’am would want to eat here tonight”,

“Why?”.

Clinton frowned not sure of why the known answer was still been demanded,”she doesn’t eat with you sir, she has been eating in her room so...”,

“Tonight will be different, tell her to come and join me”,

“I.. don’t think she’ll accept. Moreover, you both just got back, so she might want to rest up”.

Christian raised his brow at him and twitched his lips to a side,”bring the meal to her room if I’m not back in the next twenty minutes,”he said, standing up, exiting the dining and heading to her room.

He went in without knocking and met no one; he looked around, wondering where she could be, when the bathroom door open, ed, and Clarisse walked out in a short white towel, dripping from head to toe and looking tempting.
