Chapter 182. Perfection

Nathan’s POV

I wrangled Amelie to run towards the pool house. I know it’s unlocked because I planned to take her out there tonight, but why not do it now? I am purposely holding back from catching her. I could have easily grabbed her by now, but her cute little shrieks and giggles are making the chase a bit more fun.

I left the light on outside the pool house so it would draw her toward it.

Bingo! She has reached the door of the pool house. Go in my little kitten.

I arrived right after her and heard her gasp.

I knew we would have to take Biscuit out at some point. So I had decorated the pool house with several flameless candles. Right before she entered, I hit the remote in my pocket.

“Nathan,” Amelie said, smiling. “You planned this? How?”
