Lani quickly adjusted her emotions, waving to the other guests and the audience watching the broadcast. However, Hebe seemed unwilling to stay quiet. She embraced Amory, resting her head on his shoulder, and casually waved to Lani.
“Lani, there’s a seat here. Come sit near me,” Hebe insisted.
Lani had initially wanted to sit next to Kazuma, a male singer she was close to, but with Hebe making such a statement on live television, she had no choice but to force a smile and take a seat. Hebe, in turn, leaned even closer to Amory, seemingly trying to make Lani uncomfortable and upset. However, Lani remained composed, only smirking in response.
Ever since Amory cheated on Hebe, Lani has intensely despised Amory. A man whom any woman could successfully woo, much like a public restroom. Hebe engaged in an affair with Amory just to spite Lani, thinking it wouldn’t be dirty, but it only made Lani feel nauseated to the point of wanting to stay away.
