Chapter 25. I’m Sure You’ll Get Cursed by Everyone

“Still thinking about Wook, huh? Eat quickly; it won’t be tasty when it gets cold.”

Lani nodded, picking up a fork and bowing her head to eat. The Italian pasta, seasoned perfectly by Kane, paired with the sweet and tangy tomatoes and just-right beef, was a delightful combination. Lani quickly finished half of the plate. Only then did she raise her head to look at Kane.

“Even though the effort of running tonight has been wasted, I have no regrets after enjoying such delicious pasta.”

Kane lifted his head to meet Lani’s gaze, responding.

“You’re getting better at flattering. It’s okay; tomorrow night. I’ll run with you again.”
