Chapter 37
“Aunty, you better not forget your place. Just because I have been tolerating you anymore doesn’t mean that I will let you do as you please and take what belongs to my mother! You took her husband and that’s enough. I will not let you touch a single thing that doesn’t belong to you,” she added.
Mr Clark was displeased with Rhiannon’s words. He felt that since Mrs Clark was his wife, he should protect her.
“Rhiannon, is this how you are talking to the one who brought you up? Although you don’t recognize her as your mother, you should always remember that you grew up under her care,” Mr Clark said coldly.
Rhiannon shook her head and said. “That’s where you are wrong. You have always been busy at work and didn’t even know what was happening at home. She never brought me up! My nanny is the one who brought me up.”
