Chapter 43
"How are you feeling today?" Stacy asked Carlton, as she sat comfortably before him to examine his blood pressure with the sphygmomanometer she had with her. She had a modest smile as she spoke to him, hoping that he would have more to say to her than usual.
She was bothered that he might be going through some rough patches and was not telling her, especially when she had considered the possibility that his slow illness might be psychologically related.
It was also another thing to consider if any of her patients were suffering from depression in any form during the therapy.
"Yes, I am," he answered concisely as usual, and his facial expression didn't seem to improve even if he claimed that he was okay.
"What about your health? How far have you made progress in these few days?" She asked him with the hope that his performance was not going to be affected again by whatever was bothering him.
"I've made progress. Not sure to what extent though," he
