Chapter 37

"Rio!"

Nick, and Richard both shouted together. I could see Richard holding Moa and Nick running towards me but all of a sudden I saw smoke all over and everything was blurred I could not see Nick any longer. I was lifted up but due to the smoke everywhere I couldn't see the person's face and after a while, I passed out. 

Nick saw the gunfire had caught Rio and she was hit in the arm when he tried to run towards her, he could see her trying to rise. But suddenly there was heavy smoke all around and Nick couldn’t see her because of the thick smoke. 

He was praying that Rio would be fine Still, he gasped for air and tried to move towards her after struggling for some time finally the smoke cleared and he could see Richard was holding Moa who had fainted in his arms due to the smoke.
