The sad face of Lily left Ruby in deep thought.

But something was making her even more thoughtful. What Rebecca said made her puzzled, and she was troubled with different kinds of thoughts about what Mr. Liam was going to offer her tomorrow, and there were many questions in her mind about why Mr. Liam was marrying her.
