Chapter 57. Apple for Love
Many people were passing by on Hamra Street. There are also many street vendors lining the street. There was an 'I Love Beirut' sign on the side of the road. But she didn't seem interested. Sagara thought that Ratu must prefer something other than taking pictures. After all, she could come here anytime.
Ratu shook her head. Her hand was about to take a skewer of Shish Kebab. It's called kebab, but it's more like Satay in Indonesia. Shish Kebab uses young goat meat with Lebanese spices. But before she could take it, Sagara intervened.
"To start our life as husband and wife for real, tonight you can't eat with your hands. I won't eat with my hands either."
Ratu tilted her head. "Honey, this is the Lebanese version of Satay. How do you feed it?"
Sagara smiled. "Take one!" he asked.
