Chapter 6. Alexander
Alexander’s POV
Slowly and quietly, my fingers tapped gracefully on the table, creating a soothing rhythm.
“Needless to say, in the aspect of finance, the company is doing exceptionally well,” the head of my financial department said out loud in the conference room.
The corners of my lips curved into a smirk. The company had to do well; it was none, after all.
“Good,” I muttered as I raised my eyes to meet his gaze. “I want you to keep it like that. One wrong move, and…” I paused and stared him dead in the eye. Everyone knew my wrath when it came to business, and no one dared mess with me.
“That would never happen, president!” The man said, and I nodded slightly, gesturing for him to take his seat.
“Next,” I spoke up, my voice low and gruff. I was preoccupied with strategies on how to make my business the best.
