Chapter 9. Selection

Alexander’s POV

I kept checking my time at intervals, and after what felt like an eternity, a gentle knock was heard on my door.

“Come in,” I said as the door creaked open, revealing my personal assistant.

“I have the information you need, sir,” he smirked as he strode towards my table. “Here you go,” he said as he tossed some documents on the table.

“Good,” I nodded as I took the document and began reading through it.

As I read through the document, my gaze darkened. The document my assistant had provided had all the detailed information I needed out of Leo’s company! And something caught my eyes, there was a loophole, something suspicious was definitely going on in that company! I knew that without a doubt and whatever it was, I was going to get to the root of it.

I closed the document and let it back on the table.

“Thank you, you can take your leave,” I said in a low tone as I leaned back on my seat.
