I almost lost my strength when I saw him shake his head. Tears fell from his eyes as he looked at me angrily. I sobbed so hard that I covered my mouth with both hands.

"I can't accept you as my daughter. I don't have a daughter from a demon." She said it calmly, not like when she is so drunk that she yells at me and puts her hand on me. but I feel that what she said now is even more painful compared to the bruises and wounds I received from her before.

I heard the sobbing of Manang Rosi, who was just watching us. I just stared at Mama as I continued to cry.

"Just once, Ma. I'm begging you for the last time." I am angry with her because of her cruelty to me, but I really want to hear her call me her daughter. I will forget all the pain when that happens.
