Chapter 8

I stopped reading and looked up from the book when I was disturbed by a sound. I saw Artemis pick up her cell phone, which was lying on top of our table. She stared at it for a while as if reading something, then giggled. I sighed and resumed reading my book.

I bet she texts Joshua.

I heard the ringing of her cell phone one after another, so I really put down the book I was reading. I saw her smiling while looking at her cellphone. I gasped when I saw that I wasn't the only one looking at her here inside the library. They also seem disturbed by the ringing of Artemis's cellphone.

I put the book inside my bag and arranged my things before standing up.

"Artemis, let's go." I said. She was still smiling when she looked at me.

"Are you done reading?" She asked again.
