Chapter 60. Lethal Kidnap
Zayn immediately rushed towards his car and opened the driver’s seat. He slid in quickly, turned on the engine, and drove out of the compound. The guards hurriedly cleared the way, parting in fear as his car sped through. Zayn didn’t wait for anyone to follow him. His mind was boiling, his heart hammering with one thought alone.
Roman immediately followed. His own car was parked not far from Zayn’s. As he was about to get in, Cassien appeared on the other side and yanked open the passenger door.
“I will go with you,” Cassien said, his voice tight.
Roman gave him a sharp glance but didn’t argue. “Get in,” he muttered, already starting the engine. They drove out, one car chasing after the other.
Unbeknownst to them all, Vera stood behind the entrance pillar with a smile on her face.
“Perfect timing,” she smirked wickedly. She brought out her phone and dialed a familiar number.
“Good news, it’s time to strike,” Vera said.
