Chapter 21. Drunken Mess

Thomas’s POV

Slamming my glass down on the bar, I gesture for the bartender to bring me another glass of whiskey. It takes a lot of alcohol for a werewolf to get drunk but I am definitely well on my way. The bartender brings me another glass of whiskey and I down the glass all in one shot.

“Alpha, if I may,” the bartender, Ben, leans in close. “It isn’t healthy to try and drown your sorrows in alcohol.”

“Mind your business,” I growl at Ben and he raises his hands in defeat. “Get me another drink.”

“Do you want to talk about it?” Ben asks me with a concerned look on his face.

“No,” I lie.

The truth is that I do need to talk about it, I need to vent to someone about the mess that is my life. When I decided to bring Mia into my life as a contracted mate, I never thought that I would develop feelings for her. No, I don’t have feelings for her. I am just attracted to her and I am only attracted to her because of the slight resemblance she bears
