Chapter 52. Different Rooms
Thomas’s POV
Mia has been attending physical therapy for a week now and I can already see the improvements that she has made with her upper body. She no longer needs a wheelchair to get around. Instead, she can balance herself on crutches.
Sitting in the corner of the therapy room, I watch as Mia finishes up her session for the day. Giving Mia a proud pat on the back, the therapist makes his way over to me.
“Alpha,” he says with a huge smile spread across his lips. “I think the Luna can finally return home to the pack house. She will need help climbing stairs but other than that I think that she should do just fine.”
I know that I should feel excited over the prospect of Mia returning to the pack house but my heart sinks. I haven’t told Mia yet that I moved all of her things out of my bedroom into the room next door. Now that we have to find her fated mate, it no longer feels appropriate to share a room with her.
