Chapter 57. A Big Risk
Aria’s POV
“Relax, Davis, you did an excellent job by instructing her on how to deliver it,” I said in a pacified tone.
“I am not sure that those unemployed giraffes noticed,” I poked fun, earning a chuckle from him.
“So what’s next?” I asked in a hurry.
“You need to use that rope and climb down here,” I stifled at his words.
Gosh! Fear gripped me. What was I thinking before when holding a rope?
I stared at the rope in my hands and then outside before swallowing hard.
“Come on, you can do it just look for anything strong and hook it by it,” he instructed.
I glanced around the window before my eyes settled on the edge separating the two windows.
I looked at Davis who nodded his head and gave me a go-ahead order.
I quickly tied the rope there tight and allowed the rest to flow down through the window.
I peeped through the window and noticed that it didn’t reach the end but was halfway toward the ground
