Aria’s POV

“Texas that is damn far from here and besides, it is an old outdated place,” he seemed shocked.

“Yeah! But I love it there,” I shrugged.

“So where exactly in Texas because it has up to twenty-three villages located there?” He asked.

“You seemed to know the place well,” I stopped to stare at him with amusement.

“Well, I haven’t been to the place but I have heard a lot about it,” he mumbled.

“Fine! It is Bailey’s prairie in Texas,” I answered with my most sheepish smile lingering on my lips.

“Okay,” he said.

A comfortable silence fell in between us as we continued our walk hand in hand.

It is already dusk and everywhere is clouded with darkness and we could only see with the help of the moon’s reflection.

Okay maybe me because Davis can see because he is a werewolf with a damn wolf unlike me.

We held each other’s hands as we strode with the help of seeing any savior on the empty road.
