Chapter 47

Lucas drives to his hacker friend Jose to check if Dave and George have any tracking devices in their bodies. Jose is friends with Lucas; they attend the same high school. Jose is a computer wizard. He knows how to build and destroy technological weapons.

Jose saw Lucas’ car as it parked in front of his house; he came out to see what might bring Lucas to his house unannounced.

“Hey man, is everything alright? You don’t come to me in person,” Jose said.

“Yeah, man, these are my homies; they had a tracker planted in them,” Lucas said.

Jose looked at Dave and George’s faces like he had met them in the past. He then told them to follow him, and he took them to a secret room where he had so many computers and technology instruments.

“OK, just stand still,” Jose said to them.

He used a tracker indicator to check around their bodies, from head to toe, twice for both Dave and George, but the indicator couldn’t dictate any device in them.
