Jose didn’t respond as he was very tired, and at the same time, his head hurt him badly. He stretched his hand to his drawer close to his head, took out some pills, poured them in his mouth, and drank some water with the d***s.

“I’m lucky today; maybe some other time I won’t be lucky; you taught me the trick of getting to know the truth indirectly; maybe I messed with the wrong guys,” Jose says.

“Those are the wrong guys you got yourself into,” Lucas added.

Lucas bids Jose goodbye and joins Dave and George at the car. He (Lucas) enters the car, starts the engine, and drives back home; the three are silent as they drive home.

Martha, Kate, and her son Mario were all sitting in the living room, waiting for the arrival of Lucas, Dave, and George so they could have dinner. The dinner had been served thirty minutes earlier. Mario was very hungry. He kept disturbing his mom (Kate) that he wanted to eat and couldn’t wait anymore. Kate pleaded with her to wait for a
