"Emily?” Nicholas frowned, as his gaze washed over the figure right in front of him.

“Long time no see. Never thought I'd see you again.” Emily smiled.

“What are you doing here?” Nicholas asked, his voice suddenly cold.

“I should be asking you that, as for me? It's obvious, isn't it?”

“Whatever, I was leaving already.” Nicholas shrugged and turned to leave.

Emily frowned, dissatisfaction obviously written all over her face, “Is this how you talk to me, after all these years?

Nicholas paused. “All these years, you say? Oh come on Emily, there's nothing too special about it.”

“You won't even glance at my face and say it, and you want me to believe it?”

Nicholas chuckled, “it's no use glancing at your face, it disgust me.” He spat, and with that, he left.

Emily's face turned red with anger, her heart ached like it was going to shatter into pieces and she was going to die. She quickly wiped away the tears that clouded her eyes.
