Scarlet's POV

'Thirst! Why do I have a thirst now? I asked myself as I let Lara put her hands around my neck. I couldn't take my eyes off of Lara's neck. "I remember how this made me feel..."This is how I felt when I tasted blood for the first time. I added to what I was thinking.

Then, Lara's fingers slowly dug into my neck until they hurt.

"Giving up is better... Scarlet, this world doesn't want you. Because you're not like them, every race will avoid you. People will be afraid of you, witches will be repulsed by you, and vampires? You are a threat to the vampire, so they will hunt you down and kill you!" Lara said with a smile that she didn't care if her nails scratched my neck.

Lara has a point... Nobody wants me, so why should I keep living? Should I just give up? I asked myself. I don't know, but my heart feels hopeless, like someone is telling me to give up.

"You're right... Even if I vanish, no one will cry and look for me, I agreed as I looked
