Chapter 26. I Want to Be Left Alone, Please
With a severe headache, I was glad to wake up from such a horrible nightmare. I wasn't sure if it was my anger towards Lucius or me getting fed up that made me have such a nightmare.
I opened my eyes and immediately closed them due to the bright light coming through the window.
'Ttsss. Did Emily open the curtains or did I?' I asked myself.
I squinted my eyes as I looked around the room, trying to find where that beeping sound was coming from, and that's when it hit me.
'Shit! It was not a dream?!' I exclaimed in my head.
I had all sorts of wires attached to my body that were monitoring me.
Memories of what happened flashed back in my head. I wanted to check my neck to see if Lucius marked me, but then I couldn't move my arms.
When I tried to move my arms again, I finally succeeded. Instead of feeling my skin, I felt a gauze instead. Worries suddenly raced in my head.
