Chapter 49. Who Is She?

PAMELA'S POV?

For the next couple of weeks, everyone was trying to keep me away from Lucius. It even resulted in Neal trying to get me to go back home. Ugh! The nerves that Beta had. How dare he tell me to go home?

When Lucius finally came to visit me, I was super happy. That same happiness faded with a snap of a finger.

"Lucius! I have been so worried about you. How are you?" I exclaimed, rushing over to hug him.

Before I could even touch him, he stopped me right away. The sudden changes in his attitude made me feel at a loss for words. That was not the Lucius I knew.

"I will be quick. Let me get straight to the point. You have been here for a while. I'm sure your parents miss you, and I think you should go home first." He said.
