Chapter 82. Him Running Away

I look at Caiu. It's strange, I went from no family, to have so many that I don't know how to react, or what to do about it.

"Thank you for telling me, Caiu. After my mother and sister's death and my father admitting I wasn't his, I thought I had no family left." I thought I was alone, Marco gave me a family. His family became mine and I am glad.

"Even if this wasn't spoken of or true, Lucia, you have a family. This one, sí?" He points around the room, and I nod. "It is your choice the ways forward Lucia if you want to stay in touch do. If you want to speak to your uncles and aunties, do. You choose now."

I glance towards the door where Marco disappeared. I want to find him, but I know he needs time to process this. He spoke to Caiu and told him my name, that Rocco was my father, and not once did he mention it, but he was right. How do you tell someone all that over the phone?
