Chapter 87. Unexpected Call

I sit looking at Lucia; I didn't think she would get a dress so quickly; she amazes me sometimes.

"Can I know anything about the dress?" I don't know why, but I want to know what the dress is like.

"Nope. I have it, though, so there you go." She isn't her usual self, and I feel it's because I walked out yesterday and didn't return.

"So I have a question. Felicity mentioned Ring companions?" She looks at me, waiting for me to explain; I don't think there is a need or a point. Plus, not many people I know married for love. They were for business.

"That is your choice. Yes, some still do it, but many don't. It's usually a couple who are close to us, who have been married for a long time. They give us the rings; it's seen as that couple being tied to us in the future. If required throughout the marriage, advice, guidance and such can come from that couple."

"I'm not sure." She looks at me.

"Okay, well, as I said, not many people do it
