Chapter 30

They've barely made it into Kaira's room, and his wife has gone absolutely nuts, shouting at him. "Exactly what the fucking hell was that? Are you completely out of your mind? I so wanted to whack you, asshole!"

And this is precisely what Calix has been anticipating from her. As soon as they entered the room, she shoved Calix by the chest and pointed out, "I cannot think of the most appropriate thing to say to you right now. Just so you know how furious I am with you, I so wanted to graze you with a bullet right now."

Calix had just as much anger, perhaps even more, than she did. At that point, how did Kaira want him to act out? It appears as though what she did with the jerk of her ex-boyfriend was perfectly acceptable to him. She is his wife, for fuck's sake; does she really think he would allow someone to touch and even kiss what was supposed to be his?

In spite of Kaira's violent outburst, he chooses to remain silent because he doesn't want to argue about this
