Chapter 72. My December Weather
My slouched body reaches to the centre. The lights were cut off, a power cut disappoints the whole neighborhood.
But I found the power cut timing awfully useful. I could sprint my way back into the mansion and leave with my car at the speed of light.
Silly thoughts begin to occur to me as I watch the full moon above my head. The trees created shadows but right above my head, the moon shone its light on me. It was almost impossible to see what was around me.
It could be a threat, it could be Ravine herself.
"Aaron?"
Her voice was the softest that I've ever heard.
She calling my name with such a delightful tone was piercing my poor heart, damaging me further. I don't want her to fuck with me anymore. I'm going to ask her right away...
"Ravine you—"
"Will you marry me?"
As I spin around, I see the woman on her knee and a blue velvet box in her hand. I hear a click sound of a camera go off as I don't even turn to that direction
