Alpha Blake’s words slice right through me and my heart rips to pieces.

I still haven’t been able to talk to Bry and resolve the issue from earlier. Now, she is lying in a hospital bed, hours away from me, and there isn’t anything I can do.

My hand tightens around my phone as my hand drops to my side.

My mind goes everywhere, but I don’t know what to do. If it was up to me, I would call our pilot and tell him to get the plane ready for me to go visit her. Driving would take way too much time.
