Chapter 167. Mystery

Vik didn’t know what has happened; she was only possessed by a demon when she opened the underworld portal to summon her mother who also was a Vik. The demon must have escaped from the underworld when she opened the portal.

“Please spare me; I have no idea of what happened.”

Bonnie was compassionate enough to let her go. She released her from the air and let her land crash. “You opened the underworld portal, didn’t you?”

“I was only trying to protect Jane.”

“You just signed her soul to a demon.”

“What does that mean?”

Bonnie gave Vik a sad strange look as she begins to speak. “When you opened the portal of the underworld to commune with a soul there, there is every possibility that once a demon possesses you, another demon takes hold of the soul you have summoned. There is every possibility that your mother has been possessed by a demon too and now Jane might be in danger.”
