Chapter 226. Unjust Affairs

The morning weather wasn’t friendly. Heavy rain poured across the land. The roaring of the thunder was loud than that of two days ago. The thunder roared as the lightning flashed across the sky. Jane was just returning from a morning run and was now drenched in rain.

She usually runs around the woods every morning to keep her human side fit. Today was different as the rain forced her to run back to the castle.

On getting back to the castle she made her way into the shower. She didn’t like being drenched in the rain. Let lose her gown, she made a sigh of relief as she muttered in excitement: “Oh yeah.”

At least Kyle’s heater is still working perfectly. The castle is a mess but there are a few things that still work perfectly and the heater is one of them. In weather like this, Jane could enjoy a hot shower.

Meanwhile, Mike just got off the bed and needed to have a hot shower. Unknown to him, he didn’t realize Jane was in the shower. He never bothered to knock.
