Chapter 228. Uninvited Guest

She can’t believe her eyes. A while ago she was speaking of using an ancient Egyptian magic spell book to find Daniel. But here is he. She became ashamed of herself for putting a move on Mike. Had it been she waited a little longer, she could be in Daniel’s arms instead of letting him walk in on her making move to Mike.

Guilt couldn’t let her look straight into Daniel’s eyes. She tried to avoid any eye contact with him.

“Wow!” Daniel exclaimed. He stood before Jane glancing at Mike. “Isn’t he a sabertooth?” he asked.

“I’m,” Mike replied.

“I’m not asking you!” Daniel rash at Mike. Switching her gaze on Jane, he continued. “Since when did werewolves and Sabertooth have something in common?”

“Daniel, it is not what you think,” Jane spoke in a tiny voice filled with disappointment. She tried placing her hand on Daniel’s shoulder but Daniel drew back.

“It does not matter. That’s not my business. You can go ahead and fuck whosoever you want to fuck.”
