Chapter 10. I Can Cook!

We had been walking for two days now and my butt was hurting from sitting on a horse as it walked on a rocky path throughout. My hands were tied with a rope that was being held by Vlad who walked alongside the horse. It was all Bruno's idea. Damn him! He didn't trust her one bit and had asked Vlad to tie me up. Immediately those words left his mouth, I wished I could shove my foot into that big mouth of his.

Kai had agreed with him, Fitcher had asked Vlad not to make it too tight (such an angel) while Alec had merely looked up from his book and asked what was going on. The man had fallen about twenty times since we started this journey because he was reading while walking. He had spoken to me once, and that was when I had asked him about the title of the book he was reading. His eyes sparkled when he was explaining it to me, and I truly wondered whether he loved anything that wasn't a book.

While talking, Bruno had smacked him on the head and the two started bickering.
