Mia frowned, her eyelids dropped down as she scoffed with disbelief she was. "Was that why you’re here? Is that why you came to ask for my forgiveness?."

When she saw Alex hesitate to say a word, she shook her head in disappointment. "Oh gosh! Why are you so selfish, you’re a self-centered man. You only want to know things for your benefit! " Mia was furious as she stared at the grumpy man in front of her who was now looking sober.

Alex’s eyes were tired. He didn’t know what to say anymore. Or how to explain things to her because at this point if he starts explaining things to her. She would flare up more without waiting for his answers.

Mia kept quiet as she stood up and walked over to the window looking at the beautiful view of the garden.

This was when she started feeling her childhood again. She now preferred being a child then being an adult because what was the essence of being with a man who doesn’t even care about your feelings?
