Chapter 100

Theme: Illusion

The cold twilight gust hit her face, and Joy inhaled a great quantity of air for a long time. Her hair was blown backwards, and the sight in front of her made her remember all the time she spent with Dan. 

She was now standing in the same woods that had always served as both her playground and her nightmare. The same woods where she had outwitted Delta Logan and Rebecca's crew. This is the same wood she ran through when she bite Sarah in the city hall.

She released her dog and allowed the poor soul to wander around. However, Bingo didn't bulge. Joy bent low, stroked her fur, and played with her. However, the dog didn't move. That made Joy suspect that something wasn't right. Her dog only does this whenever she senses danger.

On the other hand, Joy shrugged the thought away. Perhaps the dog was suffering from the trauma of the battle they had just been through? She thought.
