Grandma’s heart was heavy at the way her girl had changed so much in just four days. Not that she had lost weight, even though she knew she had not been having her meals as a pregnant woman should since the incident happened four days ago; Mama knew that Marissa’s appearance had more to do with the turmoil she was feeling inside than anything physical. When she saw her cry abruptly earlier, she intended to go console her, but then she sat back when she realized that her in-laws had it well in hand. Her granddaughter was indeed lucky.
