“Finally, you’re back.” Dad’s words when we got off the plane.
I can’t stop smiling. Even though I had a terrible past and memories here, the fact that what I have were my best memories… makes it unique.
“Let’s go home, Mommy! It’s so hot here! Please…” Sam complained to her mother. She is not used to the heat of the Philippines.
“Sam, we’re here in the Philippines. Expect it that—”
Sam’s acting voice got louder.
“But it’s too hot! It feels like it’s peeling my skin off, Mommy! Daddy!” She cried loudly.
I don’t know whether to laugh or be shy. For sure, we’re gaining people’s attention right now. If I could only see, I might have comforted my niece.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if their second baby is no different from Sam and Korene,” Eya whispered.
I snorted. I hope the second baby inherits Flavian’s attitude. Having two spoiled brats will surely be a pain in the ass.
