Chapter 19
While sipping my lemon juice, I rolled my eyes at Steven, who was still groaning in pain because of his hangover. Even though he knows his alcohol tolerance is low, I don’t understand why he still drinks.
Last night, when we arrived, we found Steven and Kameron’s father having a drink. Jaxsen joined them, and I no longer know when they finished last night.
I would have said something to Steven, but that didn’t happen because of his drunkenness last night. In exchange, I didn’t cook a hangover soup for him, just like I do every time we get drunk. That was my consolation to him.
He glared at me while still massaging his head. “You’re so cruel, you know?”
We are now in the back of the house. I sit comfortably in a sun lounger with my two-piece bikini on. I miss wearing bikinis and good thing it’s Saturday, so I decided to swim. Kameron doesn’t own a bikini, so I decided to buy one. It was good, and it came right away the next day.
